Celebrating Incredible Work
Every day we create incredible work across the Academy in each and every subject. This week we focus on a vibrant example of artwork from Lewis in Year 7, who is our first focus for Work of The Week.
Lewis has produced a superb 3D piece for his Spiral Sweet Art Project, demonstrating control and mastery in the use of complementary and opposite colours.
"Lewis has worked extremely hard last Half Term to improve his current grade," explains Mr Cale. "He has been resilient in order to do this by persistently improving his work and using a range of different media on his final piece. Lewis should be extremely proud of himself and his work for the Spiral Sweet Art Project. Well Done."
Mr Stokes adds: "Impressive and arresting work from Lewis, who is our first focus for Work of the Week. Not only does this piece show skill in art and design, it demonstrates Lewis' investment in pride and presentation, which are core elements of our learning. I look forward to seeing the submissions for the next work of the week. Will it be Maths, Science, English, Performing Arts, PE?"
