Student of the Week

Congratulations to Ellie for winning Student of the Week at Leeds EastAcademy.

Whilst Ellie was at Parklands Primary, she was part of the school’s football team. Ellie enjoyed her Maths lessons in primary and states the methods her teacher used was interesting and different to other schools. She also enjoyed her Art lessons too. At the end of Year 6 Ellie achieved an average score of 116.5 (Gold) for English and Maths. Ellie achieved this score by responding to her teacher’s feedback, requesting extra work and having the support from her family.

Now at Leeds East Academy, Ellie’s flight path shows she is expected to achieve a score of 8 by the end of Year 11. Mrs Waite, Art teacher said: “Ellie is a very creative young lady who works independently and uses her own initiative”.

Mrs Stamper, Spanish teacher added: “Ellie tries very hard and is extremely enthusiastic. Ellie puts 100% into every lesson."
