Student of the Week

Congratulations to Rebecca, who is Student of the Week at Leeds East Academy.

Rebecca originally attended Beechwood Primary School. She enjoyed all of her lessons but particularly enjoyed her literacy and art lessons. Rebecca is a very creative person and loves to make and build things. Rebecca has decided she wants to work in Midwifery. Rebecca explains: “I want to be a midwife when I grow up and I am going to university and will choose appropriate options to do it."

At the end of Year 6, Rebecca achieved an average score of 114.5 (Gold) for English and Maths. Rebecca states that this score was achieved by concentrating in all lessons and being the best she can be. Her flight path shows she is expected to achieve a score of 8 by the end of Year 11.

Mr Hough, Rebecca's coach, said: “Rebecca is hard working who is focused in every session. She is a role model to others in her coaching group"

Rebecca's Mum adds: “She always tries her best in everything she does. She comes home and completes her homework independently with no fuss and just gets on with it. She enjoys school and has made lots of new friends."
