Congratulations to Chamequa in Year 10, who is Leeds East Academy's student of the week.
Chamequa averages over 50 praise stamps each week. She regularly supports Maths Peer Mentoring sessions as a mentor and recently helped in the Year 6 Transition Day for Sport. A student who leads with boundless enthusiasm, Chamequa is always willing to help other students in numeracy and literacy coaching sessions. Importantly, Chamequa is always punctual and has a superb 100% attendance record.
Ms Bean said: “Well done to Chamequa, who is a hardworking, ambitious and resilient student who learns from her mistakes. Within her coaching group she is willing to help others and always contributes to all discussions.”
Mr Stokes adds: "Chamequa goes out of her way to support her fellow students in their learning, demonstrating the Leeds East Way in her attitude whilst maintaining an impeccable attendance record. This dedication to progress is proven to deliver outstanding results - thank you Chamequa for presenting such a conscientious and mature model of student behaviour to our whole school community.
