Student of the Week

Congratulations to Bailey for winning Student of the Week at Leeds East Academy.

Bailey originally attended Beechwood Primary School. He generally enjoyed school but enjoyed studying Maths the most, as he likes working with numbers. At the end of Year 6 Bailey achieved an average score of 116.5 (Gold) for English and Maths. Bailey states that online games such as Calculus and Literacy helped to enhance his learning.

Bailey’s flight path shows that he is expected to achieve a score of 8 by the end of Year 11. He intends to be a Chemical Engineer when he grows up and will soon be joining a self-defence class, as this is something he is particularly interested in.

Speaking of his future ambitions, Bailey said: “I am going to go to University and I know the areas I need to study to help me become a Chemical Engineer”.

Mr Pierre, Science Teacher said: "Bailey is a very diligent and hard-working student, who completes his tasks independently."

Bailey's Mum adds: “Bailey really enjoys learning and likes to research things on the computer for himself. Bailey loves the school."
