Sponsored Reading Event Launches at LEA

Ready, steady... READ! 

Last week, the English department launched Leeds East Academy’s sponsored reading event. Pupils visited the school library and chose a book to read and will have a month to finish it.

Students have been given a sponsor form so they can help raise funds for some new contemporary texts for our English department. 

They will then be asked to complete a book review, which will be used to create a display around the academy. There are two prizes on offer: Most Money Raised (£30 voucher) and Best Book Review (Kindle fire & £10 Amazon voucher).
