Saturday Sessions Awards

During the half term, Leeds East Academy ran several Next Steps Curriculum Catch-Up Intervention sessions on Saturdays, with a focus on improving descriptive writing techniques whilst also developing skills around the effective use of PEE paragraphs.

Congratulations go out to Chelsea, Jodie-Lee and Marcus for successful completion of the sessions. In acknowledgement of this outstanding resilience and determination, the students have  been awarded a certificate which highlights their commitment, effort and dedication. They have also been commended with gift vouchers for Vue cinemas.

Mr Rafiq, Vice Principal, said: "Well done to Chelsea, Jodie-Lee and Marcus for their continued hard work during the Catch-Up sessions, which has been evidenced in their impressive descriptive writing skills. At Leeds East Academy we know that every minute counts when making personal progress and these new sessions are providing more opportunities for students to reach their full potential."
