Bowling Trip

Leeds East Academy students from Year 7 to Year 10 have recently been awarded for their outstanding attendance as part of the Five Week Challenge.
The students who had achieved an attendance record of 98% and above were rewarded with a bowling trip, providing the opportunity for some great bowling talents to be demonstrated. The conduct on these trips was of such a high standard that the staff at the venue and members of the public came to congratulate the students on their outstanding behaviour and excellent attitude.
Ms Mumby, Vice Principal in charge of attendance, said: "Students have responded very positively to the incentive of the bowling trip offered to those students with 96+% attendance this term. As a result, the overall attendance figure has risen by 3% from this time last year. The students' behaviour and attitude on both trips has been exemplary and they have been a credit to LEA."
