Annie Comes to Leeds East Academy

Following on from the sell-out run of Grease last year, the Performing Arts department are very excited about this year's production of the classic musical Annie.

Students have been working diligently to bring the performance to life, giving the well-known show a modern twist and putting a unique Leeds East Academy stamp on the production.

The cast performed an excerpt of the show to parents and new Year 7 students at Transition Evening, which was highly praised by the audience.

Annie’s cast is comprised of thirty students from Year 7 to 10, who will be performing to a public audience on the 30th and 31st of March. Matinee performances are also being run for local Primary Schools throughout the week.
