Congratulations to Paloma in Year 7, who is Leeds East Academy’s Student of the Week.

Paloma averages over 60 stamps each week. She is an extremely hard-working student who is meeting or exceeding her end of year target. To this date, Paloma shows great resilience has 100% attendance, which she is determined to maintain throughout the rest of year to ensure that she attends the rewards trip.

Ms Bean, Pastoral Leader, said: “Paloma is a hardworking, ambitious and resilient student who learns from her mistakes. Paloma is a fantastic role model for all students within her year group. When looking at Paloma's recent data collection she has excellent attitude and effort in almost every lesson. Well done Paloma, keep up this fantastic effort.”

Mr Stokes adds: "We talk a lot about attendance at Leeds East Academy, because it is the cornerstone to success. We have everything in place for our students to succeed and forge fantastic futures, but for this to happen the first step is maintaining outstanding attendance. Paloma is beginning her journey to success by demonstrating 100% attendance and I hope that others will see the great benefit this is having to her attainment and future opportunities. You have superb resilience, Paloma. Maintain this fantastic example and see you on the rewards trip!"
