Dress A Girl Campaign
Students in KS4 at Leeds East Academy have designed and made dresses for children in third world countries as part of the Dress a Girl around the World Campaign.
The campaign is aimed to raise awareness of child poverty and to help children feel safe in countries such as Africa, Peru and Uganda. Our students worked extremely hard to produce dresses of a high standard, they added pockets and decoration to ensure that the dresses were individual and would hopefully stand out.
The students were very proud of their efforts and hope their dresses are gratefully received by the campaign organisers.
