Information Technology

The CIDA course aims to equip students with the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to design and make, effective digital products for others to use. The course also enables students to use digital tools as a means of expression to inform, persuade and entertain.

IT fosters students' creativity and develop their independent learning skills. Increase students' awareness of their responsibilities in the digital world and their respect for other people’s rights. The course will equip students with professional, real-world skills in planning, project management and communication. Importantly, the course also gives students the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to support future careers in creative digital industries.

Students complete 2 Units. Unit 1 is assessed with a written examination which is 2 ½ hours in length. Unit 2 Coursework and web design.
